Master of Social Work Tuition

The University of New England School of Social Work strives to provide a quality education to help prepare master’s-level professional social workers to embrace a vision of sustainable, equitable, and diverse communities committed to universal human rights and social and economic justice.

MSW Online Option – Traditional Track (64 credits)

  • Total tuition cost for both in-state and out-of-state residents is approximately $59,000.
  • Tuition is $870 per credit hour (based on current rates), a $40 application fee, a $75 technology fee per semester, a $50 online general services fee per semester, a one-time $115 general service fee, a malpractice insurance fee of $45 charged every fall, and an estimated cost for books of $150 per course.
  • Tuition cost above is based on the 2016-2017 rates.

MSW Online Option – Advanced Standing (35 credits)

  • Total tuition cost for both in-state and out-of-state residents is approximately $34,000.
  • Tuition is $870 per credit hour (based on current rates), a $40 application fee, a $75 technology fee per semester, a $50 online general services fee per semester, a one-time $115 general service fee, a malpractice insurance fee of $45 charged every fall, and an estimated cost for books of $150 per course.
